Walker Road upgrade

Our team will be upgrading backhaul equipment to increase capacity to our Walker Road transmission site.

This work will take place between 10am and 3pm and affect customers connected to the following sites

  • Walker Road
  • Reynolds Road
  • Honikiwi
  • Chindie
  • Waitete
  • Mangarino
  • Hangatiki East

Customers may notice a reduction of speeds during this time.

Te Kuiti Performance issues

Due to the major fibre cut south of Hamilton, some customers on our Rural Wireless service will be experiencing speed issues.

Chorus Fibre Network Fibre Cut South of Hamilton

Customers on our Fibre connections may be experiencing a lost of Internet services, due to a Major Fibre cut south of Hamilton. This will also be effecting the speed of our Rural Wireless network, as traffic is being router through our secondary service. ETA for repair is unknown at- this stage

Te Kuiti Technical issue at Waipa Valley Site

There is an issue at our Waipa valley site, which will be effecting customers around Benneydale. Technicians will be onsite later this morning to get the issue resolved.

Te Kuiti Power issue at our 8 mile Site

Our 8 Mile site has developed a power issue and has started to automatically switch off gear because of low battery. Technician's will visit and resolve the issue when it is safe to access the site.
